Elks Lodge 1376 is a local chapter of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE), a fraternal organization dedicated to community service, charitable giving, and fellowship among our members. This privacy policy explains how our lodge website handles the information of members and visitors.
When members or visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the information entered in the comment form, along with the commenter’s IP address and browser information to help us prevent spam.
Your email address may be used to check for a Gravatar profile picture. You can review the Gravatar privacy policy at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once a comment is approved, your profile picture (if any) will appear publicly alongside your comment.
If you upload images to the site, please avoid uploading photos that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Other visitors may be able to download and extract that location information from any images posted on the site.
Our site uses cookies in the following limited ways:
Some pages on our site may include embedded content such as videos or images from other websites. That content behaves as if you visited those external sites directly, and those sites may collect data, use cookies, or track your interaction with their content — particularly if you are logged in to those services.
We do not sell or share member or visitor data with outside parties for marketing purposes. If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email as a security measure. Comments may be screened through an automated spam detection service.
Approved comments and their associated metadata are kept indefinitely so that follow-up comments from the same person can be recognized and approved smoothly.
Members who register on the site have their profile information stored for as long as their account is active. Members may view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (usernames cannot be changed). Lodge administrators may also view and edit member profile information as needed for lodge operations.
If you have a member account on this site or have left comments, you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. You may also request that we delete your personal data. Note that we may be required to retain certain data for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
To make a data request, please contact the Lodge Webmaster or Secretary through the lodge’s contact page.
